Carrie Underwood has finally titled her upcoming album “Play On,” which is scheduled for a Nov 3rd release. The title comes from a song on the album.
Since the release of her debut album, “Some Hearts,” in 2005, Underwood has sold more than 10 million albums. This year, she became the first country artist in history and the only American Idol winner ever to achieve 10 number 1 singles from their first 2 albums.
Faith Hill will be once again performing at the Sunday Night Football.
Hill will be intro’ing “Sunday Night Football” on NBC with the same song she belted out the last couple of seasons, “Waiting All Day for Sunday Night.” The first broadcast is Sunday, September 13th with the Green Bay Packers hosting the Chicago Bears.
Hill always make sure to be in the spot light even though she has no album to promote. Smart woman! The girl knows how to keep BUSY…
Dean Sheremet, soon to be LeAnn Rimes‘ ex-husband, is moving to New York City! He’ll be joining the cast of “The City.”
Nah, I’m just joking.
Sheremet will start his new single life in NYC, living in a condo (soon to be a bachelor pad), and will be attending the French Culinary Institute. A close friend of Dean’s reveals that “LeAnn has clearly moved on, and it was time for Dean to make a major change of his own.”
I guess they found the perfect match for hosting awards ceremony. Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley were so entertaining last year that the Country Music Association Awards decided to invite them again for this year’s awards.
“Last time, it was pretty late notice when we got word we were doing it, so we didn’t necessarily prepare the same way then as we will this time,” Paisley said. We will be expecting a great show now!
Gloriana will return to New York this week opening for Taylor Swift on her “Fearless 2009 Tour” at the Madison Square Garden on Aug 27th. While in town, the group will have their first national television performance live on Good Morning America and the Today show, both on Friday, Aug 28th.
