Hey everyone, I just want to make sure you all know about Whitney Duncan. If you are not familiar with the name, she was a finalist in 2007 on the USA Network television show “Nashville Star” and since then has proven herself in the country music community. She has released one studio album and has charted on the U.S. country singles charts with “When I Said I Would,” and “Skinny Dippin’.”

Did you all watch the America’s Got Talent finale last night on NBC? Kevin Skinner was the winner of 1 million dollars prize. He won’t need to “catch chicken” anymore, that’s for sure.
But I do have to admit that he’s very talent and he can sing.
“The American public aren’t stupid,” said judge Piers Morgan - Who had named Skinner early on as one to watch. “They voted for him, because they recognized one of them. This is a guy off the porch in Kentucky, unemployed, used to catch chickens. Now he’s won the biggest talent competition in the world.” said Morgan.
Martina McBride, will be performing tonight (9/17) at the VH1 Divas show at 9pm E.T.
She will be joined by American Idol winner Jordin Sparks for a first duet on the show, which will air live from the Brooklyn Academy of Music. Other performers appearing on the show is Adele, Kelly Clarkson, Miley Cyrus, Jennifer Hudson and Leona Lewis. Wow, that’s a new generation of little Divas.

Kenny Chesney is breaking many hearts as he tells Entertainment Weekly that he WILL NOT be touring next summer. Chesney, who routinely launches his annual tours in the spring and closes them in late summer or early fall, is one of the most successful touring acts in any musical genre. But fear not fans, he’s not quitting, Chesney says ” It’s just a short pause. it would be easy to keep doing it, because it’s fun and the fans are unbelievable. …Then you realize that at some point you’re missing a part of your life. …I need to recharge creatively and get off the clock of having to be somewhere and having to keep juggling all these things. And people needing answers. I just felt like this year it finally hit me that I need to reconnected with my family.”
And the good news is that he didn’t rule out the possibility of occasionally performing acoustic concerts at select venues. So keep your fingers crossed.
His 2009 tour closes Saturday (Sept. 19) at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. And if you still have the chance, make sure to check it out!

Major D-BAG, Kanye West tries to steal Taylor Swift’s big moment last night at the VMA’s. While Swift was giving her acceptance speech, West grabbed her mic and said ” Taylor, I’m really happy for you, and I’m gonna let you finish, but Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time!” Swift was left speechless on stage and West got booed by the audience.
Things got better in the end, as Miss Beyonce walked to the stage to receive her award for best video of the year, and being well raised and polite as she is, she finally let Swift have her moment. “I remember being 17 years old, up for my first MTV Award with Destiny’s Child and it was one of the most exciting moments in my life,” said Beyonce. “So I’d like Taylor to come out and have her moment.”
