Carrie Underwood will have the honor of singing the “National Anthem” at this year’s Super Bowl.

She will be joined by other big stars such as Queen Latifah, who will perform “America the Beautiful,” and The Who will be providing us with the halftime entertainment.

Super Bowl XLIV will be held in Miami on Feb. 7th with the Indianapolis Colts fighting against the New Orleans Saints for the title!

Carrie Underwood and her fiance, Mike Fisher, were out in the town last Monday for the annual Sens’ Soiree fundraiser at the Hilton Lac Leamy in Gatineau.

By Carrie’s look, she’s definitely in love!

Fisher told the CTV Ottawa the couple was happy to be at the fundraiser together but they wouldn’t give any other interviews. Although we are dying to hear the details, we are kind of happy that they are keeping it private. Every time a celebrity is very open about their personal life, it always falls through the cracks.

It has been reported that People magazine is offering to pay up to $50,000 for the first picture of the couple married.

“White Liar,” which was co-written by Miranda, is her latest single from her current album, Revolution.

Lambert shared the good news with her fans on Twitter with a photo of champagne and cigars. She added “Celebrating Number 1! First class all the way!”

Kenny Alphin, aka Big Kenny,  will be spending this week in Haiti, lending his support to the devastated country. Kenny will be offering help to relief workers and looking for a friend that has been missing since the earthquake hit.

Kenny wrote on his blog that “the descriptions of the casualties is heart sinking, thought the outpouring of aid from around the world that I am witnessing is none short of amazing.”

The artist also encouraged others to help anyway they can in his blog. “When I see how people can care so much in the trying times I believe even more in the obtain-ability of PEACE. We come into the world with nothing we leave with nothing. The true treasure is in the heart and continues forever only in the wealth of our spirits,” added Kenny.

Carrie Underwood joked on her blog that she would no longer be a singer. “I have officially decided that I’m giving up the music business, I’m going to become a professional sitcom actress.” said Carrie. This came out right after Underwood guest appeared on the TV show, “How I Met Your Mother.” “The show was so much fun. I got to hang out with the whole cast, dress up like a flight attendant, play a cave woman and had a baby pig poop on me…jealous?” said Carrie. Actually we are jealous…we love that show!

According to her co-star, Neil Patrick Harris,  Carrie was “awesome.” Wonder if Carrie Suited UP!
